2022 Becklyn Proprietary White

The 2022 Becklyn Proprietary White Wine is still a baby, yet it already shows to be a multifaceted white, with marcona almonds, lemon oil, and a strong sense of minerality all perfectly divide the aromatics. Its texture shows quite a bit of elegance and finesse, with only the faintest perception of oak and lees - there is a powerful structure here, as well as a beautiful stony freshness. The flavors all coalesce around lemon oil, baked nuts, a permeating minerality, the absolute faintest hint of vanillin, and white flowers. If you want a bit more soul and personailty from your Sauvignon Blanc, this is the place to go. It is drinking beautifully now, but will only get better over the next few years.
